Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Georgery Porterlesta, the founder of Globally Factor Sport. Since the very beginning, sports have been more than just a hobby for me—they’ve been a passion and a way of life.

I created Globally Factor Sport with one clear goal: to build a platform that connects people to the global sports scene in a way that is both comprehensive and engaging.

Whether you’re a fan, an industry professional, or a bettor, I wanted to create a place where everyone can find insightful and in-depth sports coverage, no matter where they are in the world.

Growing up in Southern California, I was surrounded by a diverse sports culture that fascinated me. I wasn’t just drawn to the games being played in my backyard; I was captivated by the way sports brought people together from all over the world.

Whether it was watching the World Cup or catching highlights from the Olympics, I was always curious about how these international events could unite so many different cultures and countries.

My love for sports wasn’t confined to just the big names like football and basketball—I was just as interested in learning about sports like rugby, handball, and even esports.

Before I launched Globally Factor Sport, I had the chance to work in a number of roles across the sports media and business industries. These experiences gave me a front-row seat to the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of global sports.

I worked as a journalist, marketer, and consultant with international sports organizations, and I learned a lot about the mechanics behind media coverage, event organization, and the financial dynamics of the sports industry.

What stood out to me during these years was that while there were plenty of platforms covering sports, very few offered a truly global perspective—one that went beyond scores and highlights and really dug into the business and cultural impact of sports.

That’s when the idea for Globally Factor Sport really started to take shape. In 2018, I decided it was time to take what I’d learned and start something new—something that would focus on the bigger picture of sports.

My vision was to create a platform that not only reported on the latest results but also provided in-depth analysis of the trends shaping the international sports world.

I wanted to offer fans and professionals a deeper understanding of the global sports landscape—how player transfers, sponsorship deals, and media rights can influence not just teams and leagues, but the sports ecosystem as a whole.

As Globally Factor Sport has grown, I’ve made sure that we keep pushing the boundaries of what sports coverage can be. One area I’m particularly passionate about is sports betting.

With sports betting becoming such a major part of the global sports experience, I wanted to ensure that our platform provided valuable insights and tips for bettors, too.

Whether you’re new to betting or a seasoned pro, we’ve got experts on hand to share strategies and analysis that are specific to the international betting market.

For me, betting adds an extra layer of excitement to sports, and when done responsibly, it’s a way for fans to engage with the games on a deeper level.

Another area close to my heart is sports tourism. There’s something truly special about traveling to a new country and experiencing a live sports event in person.

Whether it’s attending the World Cup in a stadium packed with fans from around the globe or catching a local cricket match in India, I believe sports tourism is one of the best ways to connect with the world.

That’s why we’ve dedicated a section of *Globally Factor Sport* to highlight top destinations for sports fans, offering insights into where to go, what to see, and how to make the most of your sports-related travels.

When I’m not working on the site, you’ll often find me traveling and attending sports events—both for work and for fun. I believe in experiencing firsthand the sports culture that we write about on Globally Factor Sport, and it’s important to me to stay connected to the global sports community in every way possible.

Globally Factor Sport is the realization of my vision to create something that goes beyond traditional sports coverage. It’s about connecting people to the broader world of sports, helping them understand not just what’s happening on the field, but why it matters on a global scale.

I’m proud of what we’ve built, and I’m excited about the future of the platform as we continue to grow and evolve.

Thank you for being a part of this journey, and I look forward to bringing you even more of the global sports coverage you’ve come to expect from us.
